Empowering SMEs through Knowledge: STAGE Delivers Targeted Sustainability Trainings

In June 2025, the STAGE Programme hosted two focused training sessions designed to equip SMEs and EEN Sustainability Advisors with practical tools for their green transition. Open to all participants registered on the STAGE Platform, the sessions brought together experts and enterprises committed to sustainability in action.

Training Highlights:

18 June – Sustainability Assessments & Planning Tools
Led by STAGE partners HSSMI and CCT, this session provided strategic frameworks for evaluating and planning sustainable business transformation.

26 June – Carbon Accounting
Delivered by GLOBAL FACTOR, this training offered a deep dive into measuring and reporting carbon emissions—an essential capability for SMEs seeking to meet climate targets and regulatory requirements.

These sessions were part of a wider outreach campaign led by EEN Thematic Group on Sustainability, which successfully engaged hundreds of SMEs and approximately 400 trained Advisors across Europe. This joint initiative marks an important milestone in STAGE’s mission to empower small and medium-sized enterprises with accessible, actionable sustainability expertise.
