Sustainable Transition to the Agile and Green Enterprise (STAGE)
HaDEA will take part in the AI in Science Summit 2025, a flagship event of the Danish EU Presidency organised by the University of Copenhagen.
The Summit will launch two major European initiatives – RAISE (Resource for AI in Science in Europe) and the ERA Action on AI in Science – and will gather around 900 participants from the scientific, industrial and policy communities.
On 4 November, Silke Obst, Head of Unit in HaDEA.B.3, will intervene at the High-Level Breakfast on Artificial Intelligence for Scientific Discovery: Delivering the Collaborative AI Powerhouse that Europe Needs, organised by The Lisbon Council. In her intervention, she will highlight HaDEA’s contribution to implementing EU research and innovation policies and supporting Horizon Europe projects at the intersection of AI and science. She will also refer more broadly to Horizon Europe instruments managed by other executive agencies, as well as to complementary EU programmes beyond Horizon implemented by HaDEA.
Later in the day, the Summit will feature a dedicated session on EU funding opportunities – Tips for the application process, presented by Silke Obst. The session will provide practical guidance to researchers and innovators interested in applying for EU funding in the field of artificial intelligence and science.
HaDEA’s participation will also showcase Horizon Europe-funded projects that demonstrate how AI technologies are transforming research in fields such as materials, life sciences, climate, and society.
Through its engagement, HaDEA continues to promote excellence in European research and innovation, foster cross-sector collaboration, and support the responsible use of AI to advance science and strengthen Europe’s global competitiveness.
