STAGE Impact Day 2025: Advancing SMEs Toward a Sustainable Future

On 4 June 2025, we welcomed over 80 participants to STAGE Impact Day 2025 - a dynamic, day-long event dedicated to translating sustainability ambition into action. The event spotlighted the innovation, insights, and collaboration driving the STAGE initiative.

Highlights from the Day

Participants experienced a rich programme of practical learning, sharp insights, and high-level networking. The event featured bold ideas on sustainable finance, sector-specific strategies, hands-on investment cases, and expert-led training sessions - all aimed at accelerating the sustainability journeys of SMEs and impact investors.

Live Pitches by Trailblazing SMEs

A standout moment of the day was the live project pitches from forward-thinking SMEs across Europe. These companies showcased innovative sustainability solutions and connected with a room full of investors, advisors, and industry experts.

Among the standout pitches:

🔹 Biohalo (Germany/Denmark) – PFAS-free chemical development; seeking €2.5M
🔹 Europack (Bulgaria) – Mineral-based paper production; seeking €12.5M
🔹 Xylon X (Bulgaria) – Energy tokenization for carbon credit markets; seeking €4.7M
🔹 Rongo Design (Romania) – Circular design solutions; seeking €1.6M (est.)

All pitching companies were registered on the STAGE platform, where attendees can still explore their profiles and connect.

The day concluded with deep-dive sessions, closing reflections, and a lively networking reception.

We’re deeply thankful to all speakers, partners, and participants who helped make STAGE Impact Day 2025 an inspiring success. The conversations started on 4 June will continue to grow on the STAGE platform and beyond.
