Evidence shows that climate change is one of the greatest threats to our generation. The peril is significant, but we understand the opportunities it entails and utilise our ability to make a significant and positive contribution. The industry is a major source of carbon emissions and accounts for about one-fifth of human-generated emissions. This is even more than the emissions of all the cars, trucks, ships, trains and planes in the world combined. Therefore, we are working to improve energy security, efficiency, and accelerate the achievement of climate goals by focusing on all energy-intensive industries, including manufacturing, energy, real estate, construction and others.
